We have embarked on a major programme of investment to create a new forward-looking university in Salford. These developments are a reflection of our continuing confidence in Salford and our commitment to the regeneration of the city. The University’s main campus is located just over a mile to the west of Manchester city centre and MediaCityUK.

Our campus at MediaCityUK is suitable for the most ambitious and imaginative of events. With a combination of state-of-the art conference, meeting and creative studio space for TV, radio and live performance - all using the latest AV and communication technology – the University of Salford can provide a balance of creativity and functionality to any event.
Other facilities include concert halls, lecture theatres, conference spaces and meeting rooms. With an on-site leisure centre and in excess of 2,700 bedrooms, the University is ideally suited for Summer Schools. The variety of venues also makes it popular as a filming location.
